Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island 4-Hour Tour

The number-one visited site in NYC is the Statue of Liberty. Come along on a private guided tour to the most famous landmark in the U.S. for your group of 2 to 24 guests. Your tour will include a private guide who will meet you outside Battery Park. Your guide will escort you through security checkpoints, on and off all three ferries, into the Statue of Liberty, and to the National Immigration Museum on Ellis Island. You will have the services of a licensed and seasoned tour guide who is knowledgeable, courteous, engaging, and an expert on the history and stories of these important landmarks to lead this four-hour tour. The tour begins outside Battery Park and ends on Ellis Island.

The tour begins with a history of Battery Park and Lower Manhattan. We proceed onto the ferry to Liberty Island. See the Statue of Liberty up close, and have photos taken in front of it. We go to the top of the pedestal and learn interesting facts and information about the design and building of the statue. We explore the museum and learn about the history and symbolism of the sculpture. Then we take a short trip over to Ellis Island, the gateway for more than 12 million to enter the United States. You’ll come away with an appreciation of the immigrant experience and learn important stories about the nation’s past. The tour wraps up on Ellis Island, where you can enjoy the day exploring the island on your own.
